Introduction: Pitching Your Business
Concisely describing who you are, what your business does, and how it provides value to customers is a critical step in growing your business. Not only does your pitch help potential customers understand what value you provide, a good pitch allows others to repeat your value proposition to others.
Here, Jerry Engel of University of California’s Lester Center for Entrepreneurship offers some tips on how to articulate your business idea. (He’s speaking specifically about business plan competitions, but the same thinking applies to any business.)
